Leanna Coy

Family Nurse Practitioner

My depth of experience as a nurse and primary care provider allows for well-informed and authoritative freelance content. After many years of caring for and educating patients, I chose to begin sharing my healthcare knowledge with a broader audience as a freelance writer. Patients have relied on me for my compassionate, competent care. You can depend on me to bring success to your projects.

My career in the nursing profession began in 2003 after earning an Associate Degree in Nursing. I continued my education at Washington State University earning a Master of Nursing Degree. This allowed me to transition into the role of a Family Nurse Practitioner and, after years of practice, a Medical Director. The skills honed as a Medical Director allow me to listen to your needs to make our collaboration on your projects effective, timely, and well-organized.

I am a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. I live on the Oregon Coast with my husband and dog. I enjoy learning to cook new cuisine and beating my husband at strategy games.
